We perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments which are commonly required in property transactions and site closures. We are experienced in performing ESAs to the current ASTM1527-21 standard. We also perform ESAs to the current  ASTM2247-16 standard for rural properties. Sendero addresses performing “additional inquiries” as set forth in 40 C.F.R. § 312.22 to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

When petroleum hydrocarbons, metals, volatile organics, and various other contaminants are present on site, a Phase II environmental site assessment is used to delineate the extent of contamination present at the site. We are experienced in all aspects of a Phase II ESA, following ASTM1903-19, including: collecting samples, submitting samples for laboratory analysis, analyzing data, preparing reports, and performing long term monitoring. We investigate all media including soil, groundwater, soil gas, and sub-slab gas. 

Sendero has been monitoring landfill gas sites in Albuquerque from the beginning of the company. Our team has extensive experience monitoring for landfill gas, installing landfill monitoring wells, oversight on dig and haul activities, and more.

We perform mold sampling which identifies harmful spores, lead-based paint sampling to check for dangerous lead levels in older structures, and radon sampling to identify indoor levels of radon gas. We also offer soil sampling to detect ground contamination and and soil gas  sampling to detect vapor contamination. We have extensive experience in sampling tap water,  groundwater, and surface water to screen for contaminants above regulatory guidelines. We provide one time sampling events as well as long term monitoring.
